Fickell is an American professional football head coach at Wisconsin Badgers. He worked as a Head Football Coach at the University of Cincinnati for six years before joining Badgers in 2023.

The ACC coach of the year played college football for Ohio State University as a Nose Guard. He signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent but was later released by the team after he suffered from an injury on his knees.

Luca Fickell is the daughter of the Badgers head coach Luke Fickell. She is a Volleyball player at Indiana University.

Luca was induced 11 days early during her birth so her dad could hold her before leaving for the 2004 Alamo Bowl.

The only daughter of the Fickell household announced her verbal commitment to Indiana University on 15 July 2022 through her Instagram handle.

She played Volleyball for Saint Ursula Academy during high school. She has also played club volleyball for Tri-state Elite.

The Setter intended to study Business as her major subject in her college. She recorded 698 assists and 253 Kills in her high school career.
